How It's Made

Traditional Indian handlooms give the Akki cushion its distinctive character. Weavers work with a blend of wool and cotton, carefully building the interlocking pattern into the fabric as they weave. The combination of natural fibres creates a soft yet durable texture, while subtle variations in the weave reflect the handmade nature of each piece.
Care Instructions

Always follow the care instructions on your product labelling. Many of our throws and cushion covers are washable but for some fabrics we recommend spot clean only. Initially lift the liquid with an absorbent tissue, then blot the area with a sponge or clean folded towel moistened in lukewarm water. To avoid any water marks, dry the area by blowing warm air from a hair dryer across the surface. Larger, more stubborn stains should be cleaned by a professional. All our cushion covers and throws are tested for colourfastness.
